Facial Bones Age as Well

Your skin isn't the only thing that changes with time. Your facial bones contribute to aging too. In a research study, CT scans showed facial skeleton change and decrease in volume with increasing age. The facial bone structure provides the framwork on which the soft-tissue envelope drapes.
One prominent change in both women and men is an increase in the area of the eye sockets, which become longer and wider with age. Aging also affects the brow, nose, and jaws.
