Mild swelling is expected after the procedure, and bruising can occasionally occur, though judicious use of ice packs can reduce these effects. Make-up can be applied immediately after the procedure, and patients can return to work without incident later that day.
Minor adjustments, maintenance, or further enhancements can often be done with additional sessions of the procedure. In some cases, nonsurgical touch-ups of surgical rhinoplasies can also be done with fillers. As always, dermal fillers such as Radiesse, Juvederm, and Restylane are temporary, and generally last up to a year or so in the nose.
If you have never had a non-surgical rhinoplasty at the Chow Center for Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Jen Chow recommends that you revisit his clinic two weeks after your first procedure for follow up. Any re-enhancement visits thereafter are up to you!
