New National Coalition for Patient Safety

Four national medical societies formed a new coalition to protect patient against unsafe practices in cosmetic medicine and aesthetic surgery. With the increasing popularity of cosmetic treatments and surgery comes with an increasing and disturbing number of non-qualified clinicians and unproven treatments being promoted to the public. The coalition plans on developing an educational forum for the media and public to inform and keep patients safe.
