Statistics show that more men are going under the knife. Facelifts for men grew a significant 14% in 2010! The majority of male fastest growing procedures are surgical. One reason for that may be the aging baby boomers are now ready for plastic surgery.

“Minimally-invasive procedures such as Botox and soft tissue fillers work to a point. However, as you age and gravity takes over, surgical procedures that lift the skin are necessary in order to show significant improvement,” said ASPS President Philip Haeck, MD.

Doctors say that typically people think that only celebrities go under the knife, however the average male patients are the ones who you see every day. Patients want to look as young as they feel.
